19th Jul: Gruffalo is a Finalist!

Our beloved limited edition Gruffalo Trunki has been chosen as a finalist in the Innovation category of the 2010 Licensing Awards. Finalists were picked from over 5,000 products by a tough panel of over 60 retail judges including buyers from M&S, Sainsbury’s, Amazon, Mothercare, and Harrods. We know the Gruff was already a HUGE star before he was immortalised as a Trunki, but we're very honoured to have had a part in his success. Here's hoping he gets the recognition he deserves by being chosen as the winner! :o)

25th May: What Car? Product of the Month

BoostApak was proudly crowned What Car? magazine's new product of the month. They stated "BoostApak is a godsend on holiday. When flying abroad you have to either check-in your booster seat and risk it being damaged, or rent one at your destination. Do the latter and you could end up with a 10-year-old seat that's been knocked about more than Frank Bruno. Your child can carry BoostApak on board: problem solved." Read the full review on our press page.
23rd Apr: Peter Andre Loves Trunki!

Their mum might not be known for having the most chic of wardrobes but Junior and Princess clearly know how to travel in style! Peter Andre was spotted eventually wheeling his way back from Dubai with Terrance and Trixie in tow after being stranded due to the volcanic ash. It's fair to say that if they weren't before the Trunki team are now whole-heartedly Team Andre! (Not that we're fickle or anything....) Read the full article on the Daily Mail website.
Apr 20th: How I Made It

Last week Trunki creator Rob was interviewed for the How I Made it feature in the business section of the Sunday Times. If any of you Trunki chums missed it you can read it again here. And just between us, Rob doesn't have two kids, the children in the picture are Oskar and Freya who helped us out with a last minute photo shoot!

Apr 8th: Bella's Trunki Story

Bella Flint was 4 years old when she was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. Following her diagnosis she had an 8 hour operation to remove the tumour, which was followed by 6 weeks of radiotherapy and a year of chemotherapy. Today Bella is happy and recovering well but her journey is far from over. We're telling you Bella's story because her dad Jordan wrote us a lovely letter saying how helpful her Tipu Trunki has been carrying her toys and books to and from hospital. The treatment was tough on a young girl like Bella and Trunki really helped to motivate her for her regular trips to the hospital. The Trunki team all wish Bella a very speedy recovery, and if you would like to find out more about her cause and donate to Bella's trust, you can do so here.
