How does it support my child?

Unlike other travel pillows Yondi offers your child total support. The neck-hugging paws connect underneath your child’s chin to prevent their head lulling forward whilst the doughnut shaped pillow supports the crown of the head, with added support from the arms to stop the child’s head from rolling.

What do the experts say about Yondi?

We asked the British Chiropractic Association what they thought about Yondi and this is what they told us: “the spines of babies and young children are immature and unsupported so should usually lie flat, in situations when this isn’t possible, (i.e. when travelling) additional neck support, such as Yondi helps to cradle the sleeping child in a neutral position.” This prevents them from sleeping in an uncomfortable slump, and waking up in a grump!

What is it made of?

Yondi is made from ultra functional polyester. It’s a soft cosy texture on the one side and a lighter material on the opposite side making it warm in winter and cool in the summer.

Is it machine washable?

Yondi can be put through a 30 degree hand wash cycle.

Can it be used in a car seat?

Yes, the small Yondi is recommended for children between 9 - 15kg travelling in a forward facing child seat. (Group 1)
The medium size Yondi is recommended for children between 15 – 25 kg travelling in a booster seat. (Group 2)
The large Yondi is recommended for children 22kg + travelling in booster cushions.

How does it connect underneath the chin

Yondi’s neck hugging paws connect underneath the chin with ingenious hidden magnets.

What makes Yondi so soft?

Yondi is handmade by small elf-like creatures called Yoddles. Before Yondi is sent to Trunki Towers a Yoddle sprinkles each and every pillow with fairy dust to make sure it stays super soft. Sadly you’ll never see a Yoddle because they are microscopic!
