It’s #NationalRecyclingWeek, the perfect opportunity to show kids all the creative ways they can breath new life into old stuff!
This year Trunki is teaming up with Reuseful UK, a fantastic children’s charity supporting a network of over 90 scrap stores and centres across the UK. The centres are dedicated to providing safe resources donated by businesses for creative art, craft and play, transforming waste into robots, treasure and hours of fun!
We’re chuffed to become an official partner and we’ve already got all kinds of cool projects coming soon, so watch this space!
Today is also #NationalUpcyclingDay and since the theme for Recycling Week this year is ‘recycling around the home’, we’ve been trying to think of all the cool things you can do with bits and bobs you find around the house, starting with our very own Trunki.
We know Trunki cases are great for holidays, but Trunki isn’t just for airports. It’s not even just for carrying stuff around in. We’ve heard of children using theirs in all sorts of imaginative ways – from a Barbie paddling pool to a monster that guards the bedroom at night or a pet to pull around on a lead… have a peek at our 101 Trunki uses gallery for loads of cool ideas for ways to use your Trunki and if you want to find out about what’s happening at your local children’s Scrap Store, check out the Reuseful website now!
